Message Lab asked Honk to create a visual system for their company that visually represents the communication and translation of concepts they create for healthcare, medical research, and biotech. The branding needed to feel approachable yet trustworthy. To convey optimism and energy, orange was incorporated into the color system. This was balanced with blues to represent trust and professionalism. With a contemporary and clean aesthetic, the logo icon fuses a beaker, message receptors, atom inspiration, and an “M” representing “Message” Lab. The hexagon enclosure is inspired by skeleton molecule formulas and the periodic table. We leveraged the brand assets we created across printed collateral and a newly designed website and continue to work with their brand to this day.
